Project Overview:
This project reimagined the way promotional content is created and managed inside Xbox - Natural Intelligence’s internal CMS - by centralizing fragmented workflows into one unified, scalable interface that supports A/B testing, precise targeting, and conflict-free scheduling.

Users & Pain Points:
Product OPS
Responsible for configuring product rules, assets, and logic across different sites and segments to ensure everything functions as expected in production.
“I have to open three or four different tools just to launch one promotion. It's easy to miss a step or make a mistake”
Initial Research:
BizDev
Focuses on partner-facing configurations, ensuring each brand or site displays the correct assets, features, and messaging.
“Sometimes we don’t even realize a promotion is still live until someone flags it - there’s no centralized view to check.”
Users had to navigate multiple disconnected screens to create and manage different promotion types.
It was difficult to track what promotions were active, leading to missed opportunities or duplicated efforts.
Scheduling promotions for specific audiences, time zones, or segments was cumbersome and prone to error.

Competitive Analysis
To identify core pain points, I audited internal workflows in Xbox and spoke with key users. I found major issues: inconsistent UX across promotion types, no centralized view of active assets, and no native support for A/B testing - leading to inefficiency and errors.
These findings guided my exploration of best-in-class tools and directly shaped the system’s redesign.

Wireframes:
I created low-fidelity wireframes to define the core layout, structure, and logic of the new promotion system before diving into visual design. This step helped validate key workflows - like package creation, condition setup, and testing logic - with stakeholders early on, reducing rework later in the process.

User Testing
I conducted moderated sessions with Product Operations and BizDev teams using high-fidelity prototypes to validate key flows -like creating packages, setting conditions, and running A/B tests. Their feedback helped refine critical interactions, improve clarity, and ensure the system aligned with real user needs.

The final experience:
The final design brought together a centralized view of all promotions with flexible tools for scheduling, segmentation, and testing - all in one cohesive interface. Key workflows like conflict detection, A/B variation setup, and condition targeting were streamlined to empower non-technical users to launch campaigns confidently and efficiently.
